On 20th August, Ben Coates (founder of Garage Talk Online) will be taking on one of the biggest challenges of his broadcasting career – staying live on air for 24 hours straight in aid of Ben, the automotive industry's charity.

Starting at 8:00am and finishing at 8:00am the following morning, Ben will be broadcasting continuously on Garage Talk Radio, speaking to guests from across the automotive aftermarket, discussing the issues that matter to our industry and hopefully keeping listeners entertained throughout the day and night, as well as our usual mix of music.

Why is he doing this? Because Ben provides vital support to the people who keep our industry moving. Whether it's help with mental health, financial difficulties, physical wellbeing or life's unexpected challenges, Ben is there when automotive people need support the most.

The automotive aftermarket is more than just an industry, it's a community. Through Garage Talk Radio, we speak to technicians, garage owners, suppliers and industry professionals every day, and we've seen first-hand the pressures many people face. This challenge is our opportunity to give something back and help ensure Ben can continue its incredible work.

Throughout the 24 hours, Ben will be joined by special guests, industry figures, friends of Garage Talk and members of the Garage Talk team, all helping to raise awareness and funds for this fantastic cause.
