My Story

A year ago, health issues prevented me from attending the Reading Half-Marathon as a spectator. 12 months' on, I will be running it - a testament to my transformative journey over a short space of time.

This would not have been possible without access to the amazing Ben charity, as well as ongoing support from family, friends, work colleagues and health professionals. Ben has rebuilt my life and, ultimately, empowered me to run the 13.1-mile route around my home town. 

Working within the sector, I have experienced first-hand the life-changing work that Ben offers to those in financial and/or health need. I wanted to repay my gratitude for this wonderful charity by raising money and accomplishing a personal fitness goal, in the process. 

Any donations will be appreciated, as I want to ensure Ben can keep supporting all those that need help in desperate times.
