This year, I’m taking on the challenge of cycling from Land’s End to John o’ Groats — over 1,000 miles in just two weeks on 28th June— to raise money for Ben, the Automotive Charity.

I’ve worked in the automotive industry for the majority of my career. It’s a career that has given me so much:
the home I live in, the holidays I’ve enjoyed, and the ability to provide for and raise my two boys. Like many people in this industry, I’ve benefited from the hard work, opportunities, and support it offers.

But I also know that behind the scenes, not everyone in our industry is doing okay.

Life can change quickly. Ill health, mental health struggles, financial pressure, or personal crises can hit anyone — often when they least expect it. Ben exists to support automotive people and their families during those hardest moments, providing vital help when it’s needed most.

Now feels like the right time for me to give something back.

This ride will be physically tough, mentally demanding — but it’s nothing compared to the challenges faced by those Ben supports every day. If my effort can help raise funds, awareness, and support for people going through a difficult time, then every mile will be worth it.
