My Story
As you know in 2019 I cycled from ECP New Hythe to ECP Basildon and back for the Ben Foundation.
In 2020 during the start of the global pandemic during in Lockdown 1 I helped feed over 100 Front Line NHS staff in the University College London Hospital (uclh) – Paul who I did his with then went on to feed over 3000 NHS frontline staff as he continued to feed them each day during Lockdown 1, at his own expense.
2021 I have taken on the challenge with the southern field based team to cycle 1722 miles in ten days
LKQ ECP Southern Field Team have pulled together their top athletes to make a 10 person team (currently 9) as part of the Ben Support for Life foundation. We have 5 elite cyclists and 5 elite walkers / runners that over the next 10 days will cover 1722 miles. We will share the highs and lows of the next 10 grueling days on our feed. Ben is the charity dedicated to supporting the people of the automotive industry, providing support for life for them and their family dependents.
