My Story
Hi
I am running The London Marathon 2022 in memory of my nan who I sadly lost last year.
I have always loved running. About 20 years ago as a teenager I was 3 weeks away from the London Marathon and during training I hurt my ankle. I was diagnosed with tarsal tunnel syndrome and after a tarsal tunnel decompression surgery I was told by doctors I would never be able to run again.
Since then I have done the following races leading up to this:-
- Silverstone half marathon
- 2 x Littlehampton 10k
- 12 hour night time endurance race
- Triathlon
- Brighton marathon
- Bournmouth marathon
- Goodwood race track marathon
This time I am finally able to run the London marathon as it has always been a dream of mine and also do this for my nan as she has always supported me.
