My Story
As we enter Lockdown #3 in the UK, we know this will bring more anxiety and hardship to many across the Automotive Sector.
Mental wellbeing is essential to staying positive and energised throughout this latest spell of restrictions.
Waylands Reading are getting out and about, staying active to fight the pessimism and negativity whilst also raising money to help those that are finding these times the hardest.
As we close in on a full year of this pandemic, its never been more important to ensure we keep our endocrine sytems producing the positive chemicals we need to stay healthy. It keeps us balanced, helps us sleep and wards off stress.
We hope to virtually travel (under our own steam! no e-bikes!) by walking, running, swimming or cycling 1014 miles to Volvo HQ in Gothenburg (Volvo Group, Gropegårdsgatan 2, 417 15 Göteborg) Sweden from Waylands Volvo Reading RG20BF. (and maybe back if we have the time!)
Ben is a fantastic charity and has been here for us in the sector for years and years. It's not goverment funded and like any of us, isn't protected from the financial impact of the pandemic.
They do amazing work and help so many of us in need, so it's down to us to help where we can!
